2 Chianz’s Birth, Parents, Siblings & Education

2 Chainz was born in College Park, Georgia on September 12, 1977. He attended North Clayton High School and graduated second in his class while playing basketball. He was arrested for felony cocaine possession when he was 15 years old because he was dealing with marijuana. He went on to play basketball for Alabama State University on a scholarship from 1995 to 1997.

Because he was occasionally accused of misogyny, Epps changed his then-pseudonym “Tity Boi” to “2 Chainz.” After leaving the hip-hop duo and changing his stage name, he released T.R.U. REALigion, a successful mixtape that peaked at number 58 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums list.

His debut studio album “Based on a T.R.U. Story” was released on August 14, 2012, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200 and selling 147,000 copies in its first week.

In March 2016, Epps’s 12 joint albums “ColleGrove” with rapper Lil Wayne were released. Mike Will Made-It, Honorable C.N.O.T.E., London on da Track, TM88, Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, and other producers appear on the album. The next year, he introduced CEO Millionaires, or Create Every Opportunity Millionaires, a sweatshirt line.

The following year, his fourth studio album, “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music,” was released by Def Jam Recordings. Epps noted the album’s “maturation” and “development.”

The first episode of the television series “Most Expensive” aired on the television network Viceland on November 15, 2017. The show follows 2 Chainz as he visits various establishments that sell the “most costly” goods and services. The show has been renewed for a third 20-episode season. Epps’ fifth studio album, “Rap Or Go To The League,” was released on March 1, 2019.
