Randall was born in Maryville, Tennessee, on August 22, 1990. His nationality is American, and he is of Afro-American descent.

Cobb scored his first NFL touchdown on a 32-yard reception in the first quarter, and he followed that up with a 108-yard kickoff return in the third quarter, which tied the record set by Ellis Hobbs of the New England Patriots in 2007. At the season-ending NFL Honors banquet, the returner was named Player of the Year.

Randall Cobb’s career has been outstanding throughout all of his seasons. He was named First-Team All-American in 2010 and was named First-Team All-Section twice in 2009 and 2010. Randall was named to the PFWA NFL All-Rookie Team in 2011 and to the Pro Bowl in 2014.
