He finally opted to study at the Culinary Institute of America after discovering his true purpose.
It was only the beginning of his career as he eventually began working with prestigious hotels such as Hilton Hotels, Embassy Suites, and many more.
Choi then developed his signature food truck, Kogi, which he created in 2008 with partner Mark Manguera and his wife, Caroline Shin-Manguera.
