Dani Rhodes started her work while being a waitress at Cornerstone Restaurant in 2015 while she was pursuing her studies with the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dani Rhodes’s Early life

Dani Rhodes was born to her parents Dan and Deann Rhodes. Her father Dan had graduated from the Wisconsin-Eau Claire University and went on working for Pharmacyclics as a business regional director.

There is not much information available about Dan’s mother Deann except that she celebrates her birthday on every 17th date of May.

Rhodes went to Waukesha West High School during her teenage where she attained the honor of Wisconsin State Girls Soccer Player of the Year two times.

Rhodes started with playing soccer for Wisconsin and continued her games from 2016 to 2019.

She scored for her first collegiate goal on 19th August 2016 against Illinois State.

She was being nominated for the All-Big Ten Freshman Team in 2016.

After a year in 2017, she was named to the All-Big Ten second team.

Thereafter in 2019, she was again named as Big Ten Forward of the Year and was nominated for All-Big Ten First team.

Club Career

Rhodes became a NWSL player for Chicago Red Stars on 12th September 2020.

She appeared for three out of four Chicago matches during the 2020 Fall Series before it was announced that the later matches would be canceled because of the outbreak of COVID-19.

In July 2021, Rhodes made a contract with Þróttur Reykjavík.

In her debut, she started in the 60th minute and scored her third goal for Þróttur while winning 4-0 against FH in the Icelandic Cup semi-finals.

Dani Rhodes’s Private life

Rhodes got engaged with Trent Jordan Watt who is also known by the name of T.J. Watt.

He is an outside linebacker who plays for Pittsburgh Steelers. T.J. Watt is the younger brother of J.J. Watt and Derek Watt (Steelers Teammate) (Steelers Teammate).

He has also remained a defensive force for the team and got selected in the first round of NFL Draft 2017.

On 9th September 2021, he got a reward of a four-year contract with $112 million out of which $80 million is guaranteed.

Watt and Rhodes have been together since their college days. Rhodes enrolled for the University of Wisconsin in 2016 and she overlapped her timings with Watt before he enrolled for NFL.

The couple dated for few years and got connected in a love affair.

Later in July 2021, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram. T.J Watt got down on his one knee and proposed to his longtime girlfriend Dani Rhodes.

She said yes to his proposal and Watt posted a picture of him along with her on Instagram with a caption that reads like “I am the luckiest man in the World!!”
