Cheryl Casone was born on June 18, 1970, and grew up in Clearwater, Florida. Her father was a government employee who previously worked as an engineering consultant.

She lived in Sweden for about a year while her father was working for the government. She was later transferred to Ohio, then to Dallas, Texas, and finally to Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from Thunderbird High School in Phoenix in 1988.

She used to consider Dallas and Phoenix to be her hometowns because she has many memories associated with these two cities. Casone attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, after finishing high school, and graduated with a B.A. in Public Relations in 1992.

Casone’s life took a detour after she finished her graduation, according to her. She was a frequent flyer who visited Africa, Australia, Europe (Western Europe), New Zealand, and Nepal. She was on the road for nearly five years.

Casone relocated to San Francisco, California, in 1997, to attend a college community and begin her career with CNX Media. She later moved to KRON-TV and worked as a business and assignment reporter. She also worked as a TV anchor for a business news show.

She relocated to New York City in June 2004, where she worked as an occasional anchor for MSNBC from July 2004 to September 2005. Casone also worked as a CNN freelance business correspondent.

Later, in November 2006, she joined Fox News Network. She is still a former Cashin’ In host and a frequent guest on “The Claman Countdown.”

She was also a former host of “Fox Business Now,” where she provided hourly business web updates that were viewable on Yahoo and FoxNews.com. Casone has done live reporting for Middle Eastern countries such as the West Bank, Israel, Syria, and Jordan.

She’s conducted interviews with world leaders such as Hillary Clinton, Tony Blair, and Shimon Peres.
