He was also named Mr. Kansas Basketball by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association after finishing his freshman season at Kansas State, and he was named to the Big-12 All-Newcomer Team.

As a sophomore, he averaged 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. As a junior, he averaged 12.9 points per game and had a team-high 6.2 rebounds per game, earning him first-team All-Big 12 honors.

Later, he was involved in an accident that caused him to miss the rest of the seasons due to a foot injury. Wade signed a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers on July 9, 2019, after being undrafted by the NBA draft 2019.

On November 18th, he made his NBA debut against the New York Knocks, going scoreless but rushing for one steal in 8 minutes of action. In his overall professional career, he played only 12 games with the Cavaliers, averaging 1.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in six minutes.

He has spent the majority of his career with the Canton Charge, a Cavaliers’ G League affiliate. He began his career in the G League, where he appeared in nearly 29 of 30 games, averaging 14.2 points per game with 7.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
