In 2012, Suparvitra Babul’s Bittoo Boss featured Sahil’s comic enthusiasm. He rose to prominence in 2014 with his portrayal as Poplu in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He also had a hit in 2014 with the film Kaanchi: The Unbreakable.
His exceptional comedy portrayal of Somdev in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, in which he co-starred with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhavan and was released in 2017, also outshone him.
