Who is Lena Moi Daniel?

Lena Moi Daniel (born 1939 – July 2004) was a Kenyan teacher who lived in Kenya. Lena Moi Daniel was Daniel Arap Moi’s wife. Furthermore, Arap was the Kenya region’s longest-serving President (1978-2002).

Daniel was the nation’s third Vice President from 1976 to 1978. However, he was accused of corruption during his time. Human rights organizations have filed lawsuits against him and his sons.

His name was also linked to the Goldenberg Scandal in the 1990s. Inquiries were launched against him, and evidence was also gathered in the case.

He was diagnosed with dementia in August 2017. He was admitted to The Nairobi Hospital in critical condition.

He was released from the hospital following knee surgery.

On February 4, 2020, however, he was declared dead by doctors at The Nairobi Hospital. Lena, on the other hand, died in 2004 due to illness.
