He is best recognized for having played Denis in the 2007 film Tiski, Lekha in the 2012 film August Eighth, and Igor Lebedev in the 2013 film Weekend. Maksim Matveyev was born on July 28, 1982 in Russia. He starred alongside Fedor Bondarchuk and Ekaterina Vilkova in the 2007 crime drama film Tiski. He originally studied at the Volga Region Academy of Public Service within their Faculty of Law. He then discovered acting and took several classes within the theater department of the Saratov Conservatory. He made his acting debut as Nijinsky in the theatrical performance of Clown of God.
