Portuguese architect who received the Gold Medal of the City of Porto and the Comenda da Ordem Militar de Santiago e Espada. Fernando Tavora was born on August 25, 1923 in Portugal. He and Frank Lloyd Wright were fellow architects. He graduated from the University of Porto School of Fine Arts in 1952.
