Abigail Chin, the journalist, was born in 1982. Her birth month and exact details are unknown. Abby’s facial appearance and last name indicate that she had an Asian parent, which the sportscaster has since confirmed.

Nothing else is known about her family except that her grandparents lived in Ohio and that she had two sisters. Abby Chin and her sisters were sports fans growing up, and their parents didn’t try to mold them into anything else.

She got a job as a reporter for Comcast SportsNet New England (CSNNE), now known as NBC Sports Boston, shortly after graduation.

The network decided to change her job description in 2014. Chin then began working for the Boston Celtics as a courtside reporter.

In 2018, the reporter reached another personal milestone by covering her first Olympic event. During the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, she worked as a ski jumping reporter for NBC Sports.

She previously worked for NBC Sports Northwest before joining NBC Sports Boston (formerly Comcast SportsNet Northwest). She covered NBA news and events for the Portland Trail Blazers as well as PAC-12 football.

She has also worked as a sports reporter for CBS42 in Birmingham and as a production assistant for ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
