In an episode of “Peak Practice” in 2000, she made her mainstream debut, which led to other projects like “The Bill,” “The Fattest Man in Britain,” and “Casualty.”

Loftus was cast as the lead in the BBC series “Dive” in 2010, alongside Joseph Mawle, Jack O’Connell, and Eddie Marsan. The film follows a teenage diver who is competing in the Olympics while also struggling with love issues and teenage pregnancy.
