Alex Ferguson began his football career in 1979 with a local team called ‘Queen’s Park.’

He appeared in 31 games for this side, scoring 20 goals.

In 1960, he moved on to another team, St. Johnstone, where he played 31 games and scored 15 goals.

He began his professional football career with Dunfermline in 1964.

In the 1965-1966 season, he scored 45 goals in 51 league games on his own.

In 1967, he got a contract with Glasgow Rangers after seeing his amazing achievement.

He played for this team for two seasons, appearing in 41 league matches and scoring 25 goals.

He joined Falkirk as a player coach in 1969, but he was fired after four years.

He eventually decided to retire from football and played his final match for Ayr United.
