Brad Richardson – Professional Career
Richardson began his ice hockey career with the AA Belleville Bobcats of the minor ice hockey league.
He then joined the AAA Quinte Red Devils.
With the squad, he played for the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament in 1998.
Following that, he was picked by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
He played in the Ontario Hockey League with the team.
During the 2005-06 season, he made his National Hockey League debut with the team.
The next year, he joined the Lowell Lock Monsters in the American Hockey League.
The following year, he played for Colorado in the NHL. During the season, he set a career-high with 14 goals and 22 points in 73 appearances.
Eventually, on June 21, 2008, Colorado dealt him to the Los Angeles Kings.
He signed a two-year contract with the Kings in September 2008.
