Bradley Stevens was born. Kent Stevens was born on October 22, 1976, and is of American nationality and white ethnicity. He grew up in Zionsville, Indiana, where he received his primary education and developed an interest in basketball.

Stevens began showing interest in basketball games at the age of five, according to his mother. He would also accompany his father to watch Indiana Hoosiers games in Bloomington, and when he started school at Zionsville Community High School, he played for the school’s basketball team, winning four consecutive games.

Stevens could not help but show how talented he is in the game when he joined DePauw University, playing in all 101 DePauw games and earning four varsity letters.

Stevens left a remarkable record at the University as a three-time Academic All-America nominee student, in addition to his BA degree in Economics.

He volunteered with the Butler basketball office in 2000 and was promoted to full-time assistant coach just two years later. He became the third-youngest NCAA Division I coach to lead his team to 30 wins under his new title.
