Country singer, fiddler, and songwriter who performed “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” In 2008 he was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, and in 2016 he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Charlie Daniels was born on October 28, 1936, in Wilmington, NC. Martina McBride invited him to be a part of the Grand Ole Opry. He wrote “It Hurts Me,” which Elvis Presley then performed.
