Chris Licht, a well-known television newscaster, is a happily married guy with a wife named Jenny Blanco and two teenage sons. Jenny Blanco, his wife, has worked for CNN for many years as an Anderson Cooper producer and later as the director of the talent recruiting and development team.

Licht began his career when he applied for a permanent position at KNBC in Los Angeles. He has also collaborated with local NBC stations in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. Later, in 2005, he joined MSNBC as the executive producer of Scarborough Country. Later, he became the original executive producer of Morning Joe, a show that focuses on current political issues.

Licht joined CBS in 2011 and was promoted to vice president of programming at CBS News. In addition, he became the executive producer of CBS’s “This Morning,” a post he was awarded when he created the platform in 2012. Despite this, he was a guest on the “Late Show” in 2016.

In command of the CBS This Morning show, Licht was granted the honor of successfully producing the show and giving CBS the most competitive position in the race of morning shows in nearly 30 years of life.
