Christine, a Floridian, was said to be in good spirits immediately before she committed suicide. “…you are going to watch another first—attempted suicide,” she said before shooting herself.
Jean Reed, the camera operator at the time, saw her extraordinarily public suicide as a comedy.
Her coworkers were unaware of what she had done until her lifeless body was discovered on the floor.
