Christopher Rufo’s Professional Career
In his career, Christopher has made three important documentary films.
In 2009, he published his first film, “Diamond in the Dunes,” about a Chinese-Muslim baseball team in China, which gained critical acclaim and was highly rated.
Later the same year, he directed “Age of Champions,” a documentary about the experiences of five National Olympic Athletes from various sports.
PBS produced the documentary, which won multiple accolades.
In 2020, he released another documentary film called “America Lost,” which depicts life in three forgotten American cities: Youngstown, Memphis, and Stockton.
He is also a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, where he works as a policy researcher and analyst. Christopher also contributed to City Journal, the institute’s publication.
