Linley made his television debut as Younger Tommy in the 1998 film Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack.
Then, in 2000, he played Timmy in Walker, Texas Ranger, and Griffin Pope in Griffin Pope.

Following that, Cody starred as Spit McGee in ‘My Dog Skip,’ Tough Boy in ‘Miss Congeniality,’ and Brownie Coop in ‘Where the Heart is,’ (2000).
