Denise Lombardo’s Ex-husband’s Professional Career

Prior to becoming famous, Jordan worked as a meat and seafood salesman in New York, where he stated that he initially had success, selling 5,000 pounds of meat per week.

However, this company went bankrupt, and Jordan went on to study to become a stockbroker.

Belfort went on to found Stratton Oakmont, a brokerage firm that would bring him fame in the future.

Belfort lived a luxurious lifestyle, attending parties and developing an addiction to a psychedelic substance, Quaalude, despite his apparent success in business.

“I became greedy… Greed is a bad thing. “Aspiration is good, and passion is good,” the author reflected on that time.

Another significant issue for Belfort at the time was a $1 billion stock fraud, which inspired the films “Boiler Room” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Jordan was sentenced to 22 months in the Taft Correctional Institution in California as a result.

This experience, however, opened his eyes, and he was able to turn his life around and repay his clients.

Using his unfortunate situation to his advantage, Belfort wrote two memoirs, “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Catching the Wolf of Wall Street,”

which were both well received by readers; the books have been translated into 18 languages and have reached 40 countries.

However, some people believe that a significant portion of the events depicted in the book was made up.

In 2013, the film “The Wolf of Wall Street” was released, with Leonardo DiCaprio playing Belfort, and Belfort himself playing a minor role.

Given his business success, it’s no surprise that Belfort gives motivational speeches. Jordan used to focus solely on ethics and motivation, but he has now shifted his focus to entrepreneurship.

Jordan Belfort also hosts the “Jordan Belfort’s Straight Line Sales Psychology” seminars, and his Australian audience could see him at his

“The Truth Behind His Success” seminar. Some of his interviews are available on YouTube. In 2017, he spoke out against Bitcoin, calling it a sham.
A TV career
In the 1990s, Belfort worked as a producer on films such as “The Secret Agent Club,” “Assault on Dome 4,” and “Prey of the Jaguar.”

In 2013, he appeared on “The Real Wolf of Wall Street Discusses the Film, Ambition, and Greed,” and he then went on to appear on several talk shows, including “Piers Morgan Tonight” and “The Insider.

His most recent television appearances have been on “The Mike Koenigs Show” and “Inside Edition.”
