She began by taking professional tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop dance classes. She has also competed in numerous dance competitions throughout the United States.

She spent a week at The Royal Ballet School in London when she was 13 years old, where she discovered her passion for ballet. She enrolled in the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre when she was 16 years old (ABT).

Button was invited to join ABT studio company ABT2 after graduating from the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. However, she later rejected the proposal (which surprised everyone because it was a major career opportunity for her to pursue) and decided to enroll full-time at “The Royal Ballet School” to complete her training.

Button began her professional career when she was ten years old. Radio City Christmas Spectacular offered her a role in the show. She was accepted into The Royal Ballet School in 2088.

Later, in 2012, she joined Boston Ballet’s corps de ballet and was directed by Mikko Nissinen. She performed on various platforms, such as Broadway Underground and David Bintley’s Cinderella at English National Ballet School, which was televised on BBC in England.

Dusty was also featured in a number of magazines, including Glamour Magazine, Dance Europe, Pointe Magazine, Dance Spirit Magazine, Dance Magazine, and many others. In 2015, Pointe Magazine referred to her as “A New Brand of Ballerina.”

Dusty Button’s Controversy & Personal Life

Mitchell Taylor Button, her husband, has been accused of abusing several dancers. He is a former dancer who has been pinned by nine other dancers, including Sage Humphries and Gina Menichino.

Humphries was in the Boston Ballet apprentice program in 2016 and claimed that she was accused at the event while the couple told her to live with them and isolated her from her family at the same time.

Menichino, on the other hand, has stated that Mr. Button accused her when she was thirteen and he was about 25 years old and used to teach the dance while giving instructions.

She stated that Mr. Button sexually assaulted her in 2018, but there is no legal evidence to support this claim.

Lawsuit

The suit also accuses Dusty of sexually assaulting five students in Florida, where he was also involved in the molestation of two other unidentified dancers, one of whom was a minor, nearly 11 years old.

The couple is accused of sexually abusing several dancers. Previously, Taylor Button was accused of making the claim, but an update has revealed that his wife Dusty Button was also involved.

She worked as a ballerina for Boston Ballet from 2012 to 2017, and she has gained a lot of fame for herself on Instagram through her dancer numbers, workshops, and masterclasses since then.
