He was named to the All-American First Team. In 2003, he was picked by the Miami Heat, but he chose to leave Marquette before his senior year.

He has continued to shine with the Heat and in the NBA since then. In 2008, he guided the US team to a Gold Medal in Beijing.

He was also slated to compete in the 2012 Olympics, but owing to a knee injury, he was unable to do so.

Wade won three NBA championships with the Miami Heat in 2006, 2012, and 2013.

Wade was a member of the Chicago Bulls from 2016 to 2017 before joining the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017.

Wade is a 12-time NBA All-Star as well as the MVP of the NBA Finals and the NBA All-Star Game.

He was the NBA’s leading scorer in 2009 and has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Team three times.
