Harriet Hageman’s Professional Career
Harriet began her professional career as a clerk for the Honorable James E. Barrett. James E. Barrett is a United States Court of Appeals judge for the Tenth Judicial Circuit.
Harriet is currently employed as a registered legal practitioner. Harriet has worked on a variety of water and natural resource issues, including the defense of Wyoming’s “open range” law, the protection of grazing rights on BLM and private lands, Nebraska v. Wyoming; the “roadless litigation,” challenges to the Fish and Wildlife Service’s management and recovery of the Canadian gray wolf and other species, and many others.
She represents herself as a member of numerous irrigation districts throughout the state, suggesting irrigation-related issues as well as the influence of land usage and its modifications.
