How Did Chris Ledesma Pass Away?

In a statement to The New York Times on Tuesday, “The Simpsons” showrunner and executive producer Matt Selman said, “Ledesma dedicated his heart and soul to establishing The Simpsons’ musical language.”

Schaefer, who succeeded Ledesma as music editor for “The Simpsons,” lauded his predecessor’s inspiring “passion for music.”

The producer and director, David Silverman, characterized Ledesma as “a brilliant and wonderful gentleman who was terrific and wonderful at his profession.”
