Icy Narco’s career began when he was still in high school — he had rap fights against his buddies which he almost always won. He was 15 when he wrote his first song, and this led to him earning a tiny reputation at high school and becoming somewhat popular.

He listened to Kanye West, Chief Keef, and Lil Uzi Vert while being influenced by Linkin Park and Uzi. In 2017, Icy uploaded his debut song on the SoundCloud website — some of the first songs included “You”, “Viagra Niagra”, and “Snowman”.

His abilities were lauded by his followers, and it didn’t take long for him to accrue a number of spins on his SoundCloud profile – he gathered money thanks to these spins, and he subsequently moved to Los Angeles to focus on his career.

In Los Angeles, Icy met Jimmy Duval and Elliot Grainge, who is a music executive, and he soon signed a contract with the 10K Projects company – he subsequently released “Link” and “Numb & Frozen” songs in June and July of 2018, and these have been viewed more than eight million times on his YouTube channel.
