He became famous for his performances in such mid-twentieth-century films as You’ll Find Out and That’s Right You’re Wrong. Ish Kabibble was born on January 19, 1908 in Pennsylvania. He collaborated with songwriter Kay Kyser on numerous projects, including the 1943 film Thousands Cheer and the late 1940s television game show Kay Kyser’s Kollege of Musical Knowledge. After attending law school at West Virginia University, he began his career as a comedian.
