J $tash (Justin Joseph) was a rapper, singer, and the founder of Relax Rekords in the United States. After Famous Dex, J $tash was the second artist signed to Rich The Kid’s label Rich Forever Music. On January 1, 2022, he committed suicide after murdering his girlfriend.

J $tash was born Justin Joseph on September 23, 1993, in the United States. His nationality was American, and he was of African-American descent.

Cause of Death for J $tash

Justin allegedly murdered his fiancée before turning the gun on himself in their Los Angeles home while his victim’s three young children were in another room.

Police rushed to the home on the 9200 block of Pentland Street in Temple City, a Los Angeles suburb, after responding to a domestic violence call at 7 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

They discovered the bodies of Jeanette Gallegos, 28, and J Stash, 28, whose legal name is Justin Joseph, inside the residence.

They had been together for around a year when the suspected murder-suicide occurred.

According to cops, the rapper from Florida allegedly fought with his girlfriend before taking her into the master bedroom of their California home and slamming the door behind them.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Lieutenant Derrick Alfred reported that Jeanette’s three children, ages seven, nine, and eleven, were standing in front of the room’s door, knocking on it, anxious for their mother’s safety.

After chatting with their grandmother, they contacted 911. The three children fled the residence after one of them contacted 911.

It’s unclear if she called before or after she was shot. Deputies arrived on the scene to see three youths rushing at them. They were not physically harmed as a result of their activities.

According to the lieutenant, the rapper was not the children’s father, and they are now staying with other family members.

Autopsies are being planned for J $tash and Gallegos as investigators try to figure out what happened before the gunshots.

“Right now, the evidence at the location and early information we have from the children in the home indicates that it’s a murder-suicide,” said Lt. Derrick Alfred of KTLA.

Gallegos was believed to have died from multiple gunshot wounds, whilst Joseph died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The woman’s three children, ages five to eleven, were unharmed. According to the sheriff’s department, when deputies arrived, they were removed from the house.
