Jenna began her career in 2003 after moving to New York City and working as a painter and color technologist at a studio with Jeff Koons. Sofia Coppola commissioned her to create three paintings for the film Marie Antoinette in 2006.

Later that year, Fredricks and Freiser represented Jenna, a gallery in New York City’s Chelsea district. She presented her first solo show with the gallery in September, titled “When I Looked At You The Light Changed.”

In February 2020, she staged a solo exhibition titled “GAY GAY GAY!” in which she showed photographs of “Close Friends of Jenna’s cast as imaginary characters and cultural figures who interested her childhood.”

The show debuted at Howard’s Athens, a gallery run by figurative painter Ridley Howard. Gribbon’s next solo exhibition, titled “Regarding Me, Regarding You,” will debut at GNYP Gallery in Berlin in September 2020.

Her two-person display, named Agnes V. par Jenna G., was just inaugurated at the Sim Smith Gallery in London, the UK on May 1, 2021, in collaboration with the Estate of Agnes Varda.
