They decided to marry after dating for seven months, and their marriage lasted for 15 years, until they divorced in 2002. Anthony would subsequently argue that marrying Jennifer was his biggest blunder.

Anthony met Jill Nicolini in 2008 and the two started dating, however their relationship was short-lived, and he went into another relationship in 2012, this time with Melissa Stetten. In both his career and personal life, Anthony has been involved in a number of issues.

He was embroiled in a heated disagreement with his then-girlfriend Danielle Brand on December 19, 2015, which swiftly escalated and became violent. Anthony was detained by Nassau County cops but released three days later; he was charged with strangulation and accepted a plea bargain.

Anthony and his brother Joe worked on a song, and to their surprise, it was one of the top contenders in the competition. They were eventually invited to the show, and Gregg was so taken with the duo’s work that he asked them to make more.

Anthony began producing comedy skits for him, and when he and Opie realized they could do great things together, they decided to launch their own program in 1995. Opie and Anthony quickly became celebrities, but despite being able to present one of the most popular shows, they were often in problems while on-air.

They debuted their first program in March 1995, but it was canceled owing to a joke about Boston Mayor Marty Walsh being murdered in a car accident.

Despite their problematic natures, the two were able to receive excellent ratings and were always given new opportunities. After being signed by WNEW radio station in New York, they grew their show by leaps and bounds, and by 2002, they had touched 17 stations across the country.

By this time, they’d added a new face and voice to their show: Jim Norton, whose job was to keep the duo in check. However, after they were involved in another contentious prank, their show was canceled and they were barred for a period of two years.

After a two-year hiatus, they returned to the airwaves, this time as a satellite radio pair. They were able to keep their show running for eight years from April 2006 and July 2014, but Cumia found himself into controversy again when he was involved in a series of racist tweets, which resulted in his firing from the show. His ambition to be on the radio was not dashed, as he teamed up with Artie Lange, and the two now have their own show, “The Artie and Anthony Show.”
