“Xtreme 4×4”

A half an hour series which was a part of the “Powerblock”, Jessi joined Ian Johnson as the co-host of the show, and remained in it until 2008, during which time she worked on such cars as Jeep CJ-7, Toyota FJ-60, Chevrolet S-10, Suzuki Samurai and many others.

She achieved world fame while on the show, and as a result was featured in several other car shows, such as “All Girls Garage” and “The List: 1001 Car Things To Do Before You Die” among other shows.

In 2007, Jessi was involved in a freak accident while working on a car in the studio; machinery fell on her and broke her spine’s L3. Luckily, Jessi managed to recover completely – following surgery, bed rest and eight months of physical therapy, Jessi was able to walk again, but after her recuperation, Jessi decided to leave “Xtreme 4×4” and seek other endeavors.

After she left the show, Jessi joined the “MythBusters” cast as a replacement for Kary Byron, while the latter was on maternity leave.

She featured in twelve episodes of the seventh season of one of the most popular reality show, joining Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman in their adventures. This appearance further contributed to her net worth and popularity.

Then in September 2016, she beat her own record with 477.59 mph, while driving the Other American Eagle.
