Marquez campaigned for mayor of Paraaque again in 2010, but lost. He is an ABS-CBN and GMA Network contract artist.
Marquez played for Presto Fun Drinks, afterward known as the Great Taste Coffee Makers, from 1981 to 1983 before going to Gilbey’s Gin, which would subsequently be famously known as Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, under famed playing-coach Robert Jaworski beginning the 1984 season.
