Julian Corrie Broadus- Birth, Parents, Siblings & Education

Julian Corrie Broadus was born on August 21, 1994, in Long Beach, California, USA,

Julian Corrie was conceived during a difficult period in Snoop’s life, as he had apparently filed for divorce from his

mother, Lauri Holmond. Snoop eventually reconciled with his wife and avoided divorce, at least for the time being.

Corrie, on the other hand, didn’t meet his biological father until he was nine.
His father initially refused to believe that it was his child without proof, so a paternity test was performed, which

confirmed that he was the biological father. Lauri accused him of not being present for their son during his early

years, but the two eventually reconciled and began building a relationship, becoming very close.

He went to Diamond Bar High School and had two goals during those years: a career in sports and/or a career in music.

He played American Football in high school and went on to attend the University of California after matriculating.

With over 280,000 students enrolled, the University of California is a large ten-campus system. They have a good

track record in athletics, though Broadus did not stand out as much as other prospects. After graduating, he shifted

his focus and appeared in the 2012 film “We the Party,” which starred Mandela Van Peebles and Simone Battle and featured his father.

The story is set in a diverse high school, with a group of friends dealing with various aspects of their lives, such as

romance, college, money, and discovering themselves. He then appeared in the 2014 music video for his father’s song “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” which featured Pharrell Williams.

He adopted the moniker Snoop Dogg – his mother referred to him as ‘Snoopy’ because he resembled the cartoon dog

in Peanuts – and went on to become one of the best-selling artists of his generation, beginning with his album

“Doggystyle,” which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and sold nearly a million copies in its first week. “Gin &

Juice” and “What’s My Name?” are two of its most popular singles. He worked on the short film “Murder Was the

Case” the following year before recording music for his second album, “Tha Doggfather.”

This effort also topped the Billboard charts, earning it a double-platinum certification.
