Scott separated herself from the country-leaning group with her Knockout Rounds victory over Carson Peters on Nov. 1. Taylor Swift’s powers were on full display during a performance of “Wildest Dreams.” It triumphed over Peters’ equally great performance of George Strait’s “Amarillo By Morning.”
Shelton used he save to keep Scott on his side and on the show after her performance of Maren Morris’ “The Bones” on Oct. 12. As part of The Voice’s blind auditions on Sept. 21, Scott performed a cover of Kelsea Ballerini’s “Hole In The Bottle.”
