Lori Bakker’s life has been marred by a slew of calamitous events. She had a difficult childhood, and as she grew older, she became involved in drugs, sex, abortions, and, eventually, an abusive marriage. Lori’s first marriage was plagued by spousal abuse and domestic violence, making it a seemingly never-ending nightmare for the ten years it lasted.

Lori’s problems were finally resolved when she decided to join a church. It was there that she found solace, which resulted in her life taking a miraculous turn from a path destined for destruction to one that transformed her into a blessing to others.

What is the net worth of Lori Bakker?

Lori Bakker’s net worth is difficult to calculate due to the nature of the career she has pursued over the years in Christian ministry and evangelism.

Regardless, if we put her husband in context and assume that what is his is hers, Lorri enjoys with him a fortune estimated at $500,000.

Her family was deeply religious, and they were regular churchgoers. Lori was raised with such high moral and religious standards as a child.

When she was a teenager, however, she strayed from her religious upbringing and immersed herself in activities that her Christian faith warns against.

Lori became involved in drugs, which came with partying and sex. She began a relationship with a man who later married her when she was 17 years old. Despite this, her marriage was a living hell for her.

During this time, hard drugs provided her with a temporary escape from the tragic realities of her abusive marriage. However, as she resorted to drugs, she became increasingly engulfed in her seemingly interminable problems.

During her marriage, she became pregnant five times, and each time, she aborted the pregnancy in order to keep her spouse, who did not appear to be ready to raise children.

Lori’s fifth abortion resulted in a total hysterectomy, making it impossible for her to have children of her own. She clung too hard drugs to get away from all of these pains.

Lori Bakker: Career

Well, no matter how far she appeared to have strayed from the path her parents had shown her as a young girl, God’s grace still found her. Lori Bakker’s heartbreaking marriage ended in 1985.

She then joined the Phoenix First Assembly of God, where she began fellowshipping with other Christian believers in search of peace and healing from the painful wounds caused by her poor life choices.

As she continued to attend church, her turning point came in 1989, when she made a life-changing decision. Lori accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and savior.

She embarked on a new and higher spiritual journey by enrolling in a Master’s Commission discipleship program.

Lori earned her credentials in the program in 1991 and worked there for nearly ten years. She worked as a volunteer in El Salvador and Mexico.

She also worked in the inner-city bus ministry, youth ministry, a women’s ministry called Fashion Share, nursing home ministry, and prison ministry.

She even took part in musical productions and illustrated sermons at her church.

Lori Bakker has done some notable and commendable things in the past, such as establishing the Mourning to Joy Ministry, a church ministry that provides support to women dealing with post-abortion pain and trauma.

Lori also founded Lori’s House, which provides supportive housing for pregnant women in difficult circumstances.
