Margo Rey began her career in the entertainment industry as a teenager, when she joined the all-female rock band Debutante as the main vocalist.

Her bandmates and she went on a cross-country tour and self-released their CD, ‘These Boots Were Made For Walkin.’

Rey later joined the power-pop band The Ritual as a singer. She was employed by Sambuca, a Dallas venue after it disbanded.

Miss Margo & The Lost Souls, a Latin Jazz/R&B sextet, was formed shortly after, and she became the bandleader.

The group’s debut album, ‘Acaba,’ featured one top-five song and two top-twenty tracks.

In 1997, the Mexican vocalist signed a significant record deal with PolyGram Latino as a result of the album’s success.

As a result, she was placed in a key part in the Broadway musical ‘Selena Forever’ in the late 1990s.

She traveled to Los Angeles during this time and was finally signed by Abrams Artist Agency.

Rey then went on to do voiceover work for a variety of Spanish and English organizations.

‘This Holiday Night,’ a Christmas EP by the Mexican artist, was published in 2011.

Organica Music Group published her album ‘Habit’ the following year in July. Rey, Chris Wabich, and Elton Ahi produced the record.
