Later, in 1972, he worked for Warner Bros. Records as a freelance producer and commercial voice-over announcer at KWFM-FM, Tucson, AZ, a radical underground progressive rock station in Tucson.
In 1977, while on vacation in Boston, Siegel began working for WBCN-FM.
