At the time, he was simply sentenced to probation, which included anger management classes, community service, and a mental health evaluation.

Story of a Shooting in Louisiana

According to officials, the crime spree began at midnight on Saturday when Mire entered a home in a mobile home park through the door and shot two people dead inside.

They have, however, survived. Mire stole a truck from the surrounding area, and police believe he already knew the victims. Mire drove to Prairieville to visit his half-sister Pamela Adair.

He shot her and her companion, whose identity has not yet been revealed. Her partner was seriously injured, and Adair, 37, was killed on the scene.

She was shot three times, once in the chest, once in the stomach, and once on the side of the arm. Everyone in the neighborhood was perplexed by the sound of gunshots.

A family member, Joseph Schexnayder, heard the shooting and discovered the victims dead inside the house.

Joseph revealed the information and stated that the house door was open when he discovered his granddaughter walking out of the door and his grandson lying in the kitchen.

He had a gunshot wound to the head or neck. He entered the bedroom, where Pam was lying near the bed.

Unknown Children – Victims

According to Schexnayder, Adair and her partner had been together for 17 years and had two children while they were together. According to her Facebook page, Adair attended French Settlement High School and later Stevens-Henager College for her education in graphic arts.

Mire shot a trooper while fleeing the scene of the crime. According to police, Mire fired a weapon separately on the state trooper while fleeing the scene on Saturday night, where he exchanged gunfire with the trooper during the incident, and Mire was not injured during that time.

Arrest & Investigation

Mire’s search had progressed, and the department stated that the police, Homeland Security Investigations, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, and US Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms are all working together to find the man in the surrounding area.

Mire was taken to the hospital after being apprehended after shooting himself in the leg. The trooper had been with the department since 2002, performing patrol duties in Baton Rouge, and they mourn the loss of his legacy to the department of services and the citizens of Louisiana.
