Professional Career

In his college career, he had 36 sacks and 66 tackles for loss before entering the 1997 NFL Draft and being selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 91st overall pick in the third round.

Vrabel spent three years at Ohio before being hired as a linebackers coach by the Houston Texans in 2014.

He was in charge of the defense for three years before being promoted to defensive coordinator.
