Paden Bray- Professional Career
Paden began competing in the equestrian sport of rodeo when he was eight years old. While in junior high, he was the reserve champion team roping heeler at the National Junior High Rodeo.
Paden then competed in The American while still in high school in 2017, as well as qualifying for the National high school final rodeo the same year.
He gained a lot of expertise and enthusiasm in the sport and decided to make a profession out of it. Paden became a tie-down Roper and heeler for his collegiate rodeo team. In 2019, he joined the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
Paden was named Heeling’s rookie rodeo cowboy of the year in 2019, and he came up just short of winning the Wrangler Nationals Final Rodeo qualification by $4000.
He finished his rookie season in 17th place at PRCA, heeling behind the 2017 world champion, Header Erich Rodgers. He began the 2020 PRCA Pro Rodeo season ranked 11th. He also won his first-ever NFR finals with Erich Rodger in December 2020.
This season, he has won rodeo championships such as the San Antonio Stock Show Rodeo till the semi-finals, the World’s Oldest Rodeo in third place, the Cody Stampede, and the Guymon Pioneer Days rodeo.
He recently competed at The American Rodeo at AT&T Stadium with Erich Rodgers, winning the title for team Roping and Rodgers among other awards.
