KRON 4’s five-part news series “About Race” has won numerous awards, including the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, the Pew Center Batten Civic Journalism Prize, the Northern California Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists’ In-Depth Reporting Award, the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame, and the California Best Documentary Award.

The ten-part HMO news series “Who Owns Your Health” earned Moore a California Journalism Award from California State University, Sacramento in the category of Television Special Feature / Enterprise Reporting.

For her work in mentoring an Oakland public school kid, she was the first winner of the San Francisco NAACP Dr Carlton B. Goodlett Civil Rights Award in 1998. In 1997, she was also awarded the African American Advocates Award.
