Park featured in the short film Equal in 2005, while still in middle school, prior to her professional acting debut in the 2006 high school TV show Secret Campus.

In 2005, the short film won the “Challenging Reality” prize at the 7th Seoul International Youth Film Festival.

Her innate beauty was recognized after her childhood images were posted on an online community board on June 10, 2011.

Her father, who had been a soldier for 34 years, was always supportive of her wishes and decisions.
