Paula Zahn, a well-known journalist, and newscaster were born on 24 February 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska, United States of America.

Zahn was raised with three brothers and sisters in Canton, Ohio, and Naperville, Illinois. Her mother was a teacher and an artist, and her father worked for IBM as a sales executive.

In 1974, she enrolled in Central High School Naperville and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Stephens College Columbia, Missouri.

As a teenager, she competed in beauty pageants and advanced to the semi-finals of the 1973 “Miss Teenage America Pageant.”

Paula Zahn: Professional Career

Paula Zahn is best known for her work as a journalist, broadcaster, actress, and television producer. Zahn began her career in mass media in 1978 as a journalist and worked for ten years on a variety of platforms throughout the state.

She was hired by ABC News in 1987 to host a weekend show, and from there she began co-anchoring “World News This Morning” and imparting news segments for “Good Morning America,” which increased her professional fame.

Zahn joined CBS news in 1990 and co-anchored “CBS The Morning” until 1996. She covered the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France in 1992 and Lillehammer, Norway in 1994.

She then began hosting the “CBS Evening News” and “48 Hours,” completing a nine-year tenure with CBS.

Zahn joined FOX News in 1999 and worked there for two years. She joined CNN in September 2001 and spent her first day covering the terrorist attack on the United States. Zahn also co-hosted the morning show “American Morning with Paula Zahn.”

In 2003, during the Iraq war, she hosted a two-hour program called “Live from the Headlines.” She successfully completed numerous challenging and difficult projects while working at CNN.

Zahn has won nine Emmy Awards and the AWRT award during her career.

She has interviewed numerous notable figures throughout her successful career, including Presidents Bush and Clinton.

Zahn is currently the host of the Discovery Investigation Cable Channel’s News Magazine series “On the Case with Zahn.”

In her personal life, Zahn married Richard Cohan in 1987 and stayed with him for 20 years before deciding to divorce him. The couple is the parents of three children.
