Alfred Bush, better known as Reggie Bush, is a well-known American football player, athlete, and film producer. He is currently a running back with the Detroit “Lions,” a well-known team in the National Football League. He has had the opportunity to play for teams such as the New Orleans “Saints,” Miami “Dolphins,” and Detroit “Lions” throughout his career.
He has various accomplishments as a football player, including becoming a Super Bowl champion, collecting the Doak Walker Award and the Walter Camp Award, as well as winning the AP Nation Championship and the BCS National Championship. Bush was also nominated for the BET Male Athlete of the Year Awards multiple times, although he never won.
He began to receive more media attention as he grew in popularity. He appeared on the cover of Gameloft’s video game “Pro Football 2007,” as well as the cover of “Essence” magazine, in the reality television series “Same Name,” and as a guest star on the radio show “Boomer and Carton.”
In his personal life, he dated Eva Torres in college and briefly dated Kim Kardashian. Seth Meyers, an actor and comedian, later ridiculed his latter relationship.

He attended the University of Southern California after graduating from high school, where he got a scholarship. For two years, Bush was a member of Pete Carroll’s “USC Trojans” team. Bush’s first years with the “Trojans” demonstrated that he was a skilled and talented running back.
Bush left a significant legacy at USC, where he shared the Heisman Trophy with teammate Matt Leinart, was voted College Football Player of the Year, and led his team to critical victories.
However, Bush’s college career was marred by NCAA investigations and litigation when he was accused of accepting gifts in violation of NCAA rules. During the investigation, it was revealed that Bush did indeed receive gifts, for which he was deprived of his Heisman Trophy and other distinctions.
When Bush decided to forego his final year of college, he entered the 2006 NFL Draft, where he was selected as the second choice by the New Orleans “Saints.” Bush played five seasons for the “Saints” before moving on to the “Dolphins” for two seasons. He is now a member of the Detroit “Lions.”
