Sony Music Entertainment recognized his abilities and hired him as its marketing manager in March 2018.

In addition to co-hosting The Joe Budden Podcast, he is the general manager of D’usse Palooza, a cross-country

fun-filled party series.

Joe Budden, his co-host, was fired on air in May 2021. The former friends had engaged in a public passive-aggressive feud in the weeks leading up to the decision.

While he refrained from sharing his side of the story right away, Joe accused him of attempting to audit the books. Joe was also adamant that he was overpaid.
