Who is Sam Burns?

Sam Burns is a well-known American golfer who is presently competing on the PGA Tour. He previously attended Louisiana State University and played golf there. In the realm of golf, he just won the Valspar Championship and the Sanderson Farms Championship, both in 2021.

Sam Burns began his golf career as a member of Calvary Baptist Academy, where he went on to become a three-time individual state champion. In 2014, he was named the AJGA Rolex Junior Player of the Year.

Sam Burns began his golf career as a member of Calvary Baptist Academy, where he went on to become a three-time individual state champion. In 2014, he was named the AJGA Rolex Junior Player of the Year.

Burn also played college golf at Louisiana State University, where he won four events in his sophomore season and had 15 collegiate starts. Sam has also been named first-team All-American and NCAA Division I Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year for the 2016-17 season.

He competed in the 2017 Arnold Palmer Cup for the United States, qualifying for the PGA Tour’s 2017 Barbasol Championship, where he placed T6.

While competing in the Sanderson Farms Championship in October 2017, Sam Burn made his PGA Tour debut.

He won T2 at the Columbia Championship in February 2018, T7 at the Honda Classic, where he was paired with Tiger Woods in the final round and secured a spot in the Valspar Championship, and T12 at the championship.

Later, he went on to receive his winning streak with a T43 championship and later competed in the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, where he finished with a T20.

At the end of the 2018 Web.com Tour season, Sam Burn earned a spot on the PGA Tour. Since the start of the 2018-2019 season, he has been a member of the PGA Tour.

Later, at Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Mississippi, he won his second PGA Tour championship.

With his effort, he started the final round in second place, but soon took the lead and was able to pull away with a string of four birdies.
