Simphiwe Ngema, the lovely vocalist, was married to artist and singer Dumisani ‘Dumi’ Masilela.
The couple began dating in May 2014 and married two years later in a conventional wedding ceremony in the same month of May of 2017.
The ex-couple kept their relationship hidden and married quietly on the weekend of May 20 and 21.
One month later, Simphiwe and her ex-husband released photos from their wedding.
Simphiwe lost her ex-husband in an attempted hijacking on August 2, 2017, when they were fired at the vehicle as he was driving.
