In 1986, Burton made his film debut as a Local FBI Agent Ithaca in ‘The Manhattan Project,’ and in 1994, he played the role of Bar Patron in ‘Red Sun Rising,’ as Capt.

Steve Russell in ‘Semper Fi’ in 2001, Peretz in ‘The Last Castle’ in 2001. 

He played Cloud Strife in the films Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children in 2006 and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete in 2009.

He played Chris Fuller in the television series ‘Out of This World’ from 1987 to 1991. 

Later, in 1998, he starred in ‘Day of Our Lives’ as Harris Michaels.

He initially featured as Jason Morgan on ‘General Hospital’ in 1991, and again in the first season of ‘General Hospital: Night Shift’ in 2007. 

He was first considered for the role of his on-screen brother, A.J. Quartermaine.

He announced his departure from ‘General Hospital’ on August 28, 2012, and his final appearance was on October 26, 2012.

Later, on January 29, 2013, he joined the cast of ‘The Young and the Restless’ as Dylan McAvoy, however on October 6, 2016, he revealed that she would quit the character of Dylan.
