Steve Buscemi is an American actor and filmmaker from the United States. He is best known for his roles in The Death of Stalin (2017), Big Fish (2003), Con Air (1997), Desperado (1995), and Reservoir Dog (1995). He has appeared in six films with the Coen Brothers, including Paris, je t’aime (2006), The Big Lebowski (1998), The Hudsucker Proxy (1994), Barton Fink (1991), and Miller’s Crossing (1991).
Steve Buscemi had a long and successful career in television. From 2010 to 2014, he starred as Enoch “Nucky” Thompson in the HBO television series Boardwalk Empire, which he co-created with Terence Winter. His father was from the Sicilian town of Menfi, and his mother was of Irish, English, and Dutch ancestry. He was raised by three brothers, Jon, Ken, and Michael. Michael, his brother, is an actor, and the family was raised Catholic.

This year marks the 64th birthday of the legendary actor. In one of his interviews, he mentioned his wife’s battle with ovarian cancer.
He recalled the pain she was experiencing at the end of the disease, and he expressed his feelings about cleaning their house in Brooklyn, where the couple had lived together for many years but now feels too large to live alone. In 1987, Buscemi married Andres.
In 2015, his wife, Andres, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Cancer returned in 2017 while she was undergoing various stages of chemotherapy, and it was difficult to see her wife in this state.
She passed away in January 2019. He stated that the hardest thing was the pain, and that the person who is in such pain is painful. It’s heartbreaking to see people die from cancer when there’s no cure.
