Professional Development

Patrick recorded a 26-yard reception for the first time in his professional career in Week 2 while playing for the Broncos. His team won in Week 2 and lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, where he scored his first professional receiving touchdown with a 24-yard reception.

In the 2018 season, he rushed for 315 yards, caught 23 passes, and scored one touchdown. Patrick was placed on reserve on September 11th, 2019, after suffering from a broken hand in Week 1’s game.

Later, on October 30, 2019, he returned to the field and began practicing with the team again. During the 2019 season, he scored in 8 games and had 218 receiving yards on 16 receptions.

The Denver Broncos

Patrick signed a one-year contract with the Broncos as an exclusive-rights free agent on April 18, 2020. In Week 4 of the 2020 season, against the New York Jets on “Thursday Night Football,” he set a career high with nearly 6 receptions, one touchdown, and 113 yards while leading the team to a 37-26 victory.

Patrick was ejected from a game against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10 after punching a member of the opposing team.

Patrick was later punched by Isaiah Johnson of the opposing team, who was also ejected at the time. Patrick set an overall record of 119 yards with 61 yards for fourth down late in the fourth quarter in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins, helping the team win by 20-13 points.

In Week 13, he had four receptions for 44 yards and two receiving touchdowns against the Kansas City Chiefs.
